[There's a squeal of tires and brakes as a '71 Chevelle pops into view, nearly driving into the fountain. The car sits for a moment before the engine's killed and the driver steps out, removing a trucker's cap and scratching his head for a moment. He puts the cap back on and reaches into the front seat. Pulling out a map, he looks at it, looks ( Read more... )

The City doesn't leave you many options beyond driving in circles unless you're planning for off-road travel.

I'm gettin' that from the local map.
Must piss Dean off somethin' fierce.

What's your name stranger? Know anyone I should know?

[ooc: logging off soon - will backtag later]

Niko Leandros, and the answer to your second question depends on your name.

[OOC: I should be doing the same, so that works well. Sorry I didn't tag sooner!]

Dammit, I'm too tired for this.

If I mentioned I knew the overprotective owner of a '67 Chevy Impala with a little brother he usually spends too much time worryin' about, would you know who I'm talkin' about?

[ooc:arrgh, i'm leaving soon, I swear!]

The Winchesters. Yes, I know them. Dean may, on occasion, wish that I didn't.

[OOC: So am I. I swear. We're making a grand pair at the moment, aren't we?]

That sounds like a good story to hear over a beer or two.

Name's Bobby Singer, apparently I've been mentioned to a friend or two of theirs. If you're one of 'em I hope it wasn't too boring for ya.

[ooc:um, yeah...]

You can stop in at Lux, but I'm afraid I generally serve beer rather than drink it.

Dean's stories are always enlightening.

Yeah, enlightening, good word fer that.

Listen, I'm trying to figure out what kinda sinkhole I'm steppin' into here - you know any of what's goin' on with those two?

I know enough. You'll want hip-waders and a crane to pull you back out.

[sighs]

Figures. Just the two of them goin' at it, or is there stuff other than these curses pushin' at 'em?

Mr. Singer, I'm sure you understand that certain conversations have been had in confidence.

Hell I can respect that, but these boys got a bad habit of lettin' things fester until someone or something else pushes 'em over the edge. Gets kinda messy that way and it's gettin' longer and longer fer them to get back from it every time.

Just trying to figure out who's pushin' where, is all.

If you can deduce that, you may be the first.

You've seen by now that both brothers keep journals on the network, like most people here. Read them, and read Castiel's and Ruby's. City curses loosen tongues.

Good advice, I'll take you up on...wait, Castiel's here? Never mind, 'course he is, makes perfect sense.

I'll appreciate you keepin' your eyes open - not that you seem the type to fall asleep at the wheel - this place is about a thousand miles from right an' the boys can use all the help they can get.

They've been of help to me, and I understand something of their position.

I look forward to meeting you properly, Mr. Singer. Keep Lux in mind when you need that beer.

[OOC: Sorry! I have to run!]
