Comrade,
spot on re: the dancing Matt video. 'tarded, fo shizzle.
Lets' see, I went shopping last night for the first time in a while. Mostly got work-related stuff: two new stripey button-downs, and two pinstripe slacks, all metrosexual-style. I tried to buy some John Varvatos jeans, but their cut is built for men without Thighs of Might such as mine. I went with some Lucky brand jeans, instead. Next week, I'll get some new undershirts, and maybe looks at a few casual Summer stylings.
Tonight, I'm hosting a poker tournament for 12 at
Trevor and Michelle's place. Should be fun.
I'm going to run to the gym in a few minutes, though I'll most-likely walk, since it's only half-an-avenue away. Happy to have my workouts that close. Today is legs and abs, plus some cardio. It'll be good to get back to the gym, since I skipped Thursday and Friday (Anne was in town.)
Speaking of, I had fun with Anne these past few days. We did a lot of cooking, and I got to feed my oenophilic instincts. I think she had a good time, too.
It was good to see Owen the other weekend. We traipsed all over NoVA, actually. It was kinda "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"-esque, and definitely cool. I hope that Stanton's shoulder heals well, too. He showed me this game called Audiosurf, which looked interesting -- I might have to check it out. Also, we watched videos of Spore penis monsters and animatronic Usher songs. Which reminds me.
Check this video out: my cousin Peter showed it to me at the reunion last weekend.
And what's up with these YouTube caption things. I don't know what that's all about. Maybe they want to be like VH1's pop-up video? Also: if you haven't already, check out
the pop-up video for Rick Astley's song. It's pretty cool, imo.
Anyway, gotta get going to the gym -- plus, lots of dishes to clean from Anne's visit (yea, I'm a slacker, and yes, we don't have a dish-washing machine.)
see you soon.
