I was making my playlist for this Saturday's show and I came across 2 songs that I was very happy to find out that I had. First one is by the VAMPS which is the cover of David Bowie's "Life on Mars". I saw VAMPS do this song back in July when they came to Seattle. It was always a song that I always thought HYDE would sound amazing on. Guess what? He does!
Then I decided to play something by Zilch (Hide's, from X Japan, American band that was more popular in Japan than here. Their song "Inside the Perverted Mound" was in the movie Heavy Metal 2000). Well I could play a lot of their music during the old time of CDPH because of the time of night it was. Well as I was trying to find a song where I wouldn't get in trouble for playing. I saw the Lyrics for "What’s Up Mr. Jones?" it is a tribute to David Bowie. I couldn't believe it. so it went into the show too.
Waiting on the contacts for Sakura Con, but it is a go. Plus with the upcoming GPKISM/Seileen show, I wasn't able to get my show to present it, but there might be a chance to get backstage to do an interview. Kiwamu, the owner of Darkest Labyrinth and Starwave Records, is the Guitarist for GPKISM. lol I just found that out too. You know I should do more research on the bands I play lol Never know what you will find out. Anyways Kiwamu said that if I can get to the concert, he has guaranteed me an interview with GPKISM. So cross your fingers
