17th Riff: And...Now for something completely different [video]
[The video trickling in via Haruko's PCD is odd, to say the least. Seemingly propped up on some kind of stand, the PCD currently displays Haruko sitting beside her bed, a pair of odd looking paper puppets laying on her lap, and, for some inexplicable reason, she has a smile upon her face. Clearly something stranger, wonderful, or an destructive beyond imagination was going to happen very soon.]
It looks like you all have been pretty depressed, so ol' Haruko has something to cheer you all up! It's story time, so sit back and relax for awhile, ok~?
[Haruko the begins manipulating the small dolls that previously lay on her lap, having them act out a story in a spastic manner well fitting the space pirate's personality.]
Not so long ago there lived a young woman who traveled the galaxy seeking the greatest treasure the universe had ever known. She was at it for years, chasing the treasure from place to place in an effort to make it her own. But, one day someone on a small, blue and green, planet stole the treasure from under the woman's nose and sealed it deep within a metal coffin that she simply could not enter on her own.
Now, helpless and alone on a strange world, the woman had lost her way. And, looking for a way to capture what she had come here for in the first place, stumbled upon a young boy with an interesting power and a strong desire to grow up. For you see, this young boy was the key to unlocking the coffin her precious treasure had been sealed into. And though there was conflict between the young woman and the boy, the two eventfully came to something of an understanding as the young boy had developed feelings for the woman and would seemingly follow her anywhere. Together, and through much tribulation, the pair stood on the edge of unlocking the coffin that contained the precious treasure. But, in a twist of fate, the young boy came into possession of the treasure instead!
Naturally, the young woman was outraged that the thing she had worked so hard to find chose the young boy over herself! And, as these things tend to go, a fight broke out among the pair. This did not last long, as the young boy confessed his love for the woman, ending the fighting and sending the treasure from which it came, back to wandering the cosmos till the day someone may again claim it's power. But what of the young boy and woman? Well, how do you all think it ended? It's pretty easy to guess, honestly~pyon.
