I still find the internet boring and completely devoid of anything fun, but dammit, I'll be here until I die.
I just moved into a new apartment with the madame Nikki and Lord Rafeington. The romantic concept of living in a small, but cozy, apartment that I so foolishly held onto for some reason quickly faded when I realized that apartment buildings are full of fucks. Fucks below you complaining about walking too loud, fucks to the right of you bitching about talking in the halls, and fucks on the HOA board coming to you about EVERY LITTLE THING THAT HAPPENS IN THE BUILDING.
Trash chute's broken? Those kids in 209. Someone cut up some postings? Probably 209. There was some noise, was that 209?
It's really obnoxious. I don't want to toss out words like "age discrimination" all willy nilly, but sometimes I feel like the Legion of Geriatrics who make up the HOA board really do feel like messing with us because:
A) we're new in the building.
B) We're the youngest people in the building.
Still, they've backed off in the recent week or so, so who knows? Maybe I'm just being silly.
