Now I'm giggling about my mushy mouth. I do seem to have recovered from the mush (at least I think so!). The fic is recorded and off to beta. I was actually wondering if it would make more sense to hold off on posting this one until closer to Christmas (given the theme). It seemed quite weird to be recording a Christmas fic during a heat wave (30plus Celsius - not sure what that is in Fahrenheit).
Anyway, I've asked Nat's opinion, so I'll wait to see what she thinks. I'm starting on the next one right away (well, in the next few days), but it's a bit longer and I expect it to be a bit more of a challenge (anything that makes me cry is a challenge to record, and I gotta tell you, I cry easily).
I'm weirdly fond of my tripod microphone also, but that's because I'm a gadget geek. I never know what things are called, but I want one of each! I'm actually much more enamoured of the filter thingy. It all makes me feel so much more official than my little headset mic that I used to use!
And now it's time to go get some real life things accomplished. Still haven't succeeded in teaching the cats how to sort the laundry...
