Writer's Block: Regrets Only
I think that animals feel all sorts of things..I think when they do something like go to the bathroom in the house, or tear down the trash, or eat your shoe and you scold them, I think that's when they feel regret. Also maybe sadness and shame. Pets want to please their people, and they can't do that when they're being "bad". So yes, I think animals can feel regret, along with any other emotion. Well, domesticated animals at least. In the wild, animals go on instinct, and regret isn't instinctual.
