[EN] SCawaii (Feb 2024): SixTONES Love

Dec 25, 2023 17:18

SixTONES Love
“Oshi” and “SCawa” have come together ღ

SixTONES are dressed in rough leather and their member colours to come on SCawaii for the first time!! It’s finally happened, so for their solo pages, we came up with themes that we wanted to see their faces express. And the overall theme, is “love”. This interview filled with love is worth a read. Now, let’s all fall into the charms of SixTONES.

JESSE
His dominating aura sends your heart into overdrive.
His aura behind the camera and on stage is no joke. His visuals are way too good, but he actually did lots of boke and talked a lot during the interview (laughs). That gap is BIG LOVE🎔

Q. What’s something that made you happy or laugh out loud recently?
I woke up feeling that I slept a lot, but I could’ve slept for another 3 hours. It’s bliss when I can go back to sleep for a long period. Doing my laundry and hanging them to dry is fun too!

Q. Where would you go if you were to go somewhere with your members in winter?
I thought about seafood with Hokuto, but he has an allergy so… (Hokuto: I’m fine if it’s not prawn or crab) But I want to eat prawns and crab though (laughs). In that case, I’ll go to Hokkaido with Taiga and eat Jingisukan. (Taiga: I’m the second option?!. Hokuto: I can go if it’s jingisukan (laughs)) HAHAHAHAHA!

Q. Where will you meet up to go there?
I’d probably meet up with him at the airport. Even if I’m the one who suggested to go on a trip, the one who plans everything is Kouchi. If I go with Taiga, we’ll probably plan and decide together.

Q. It’s your first time on SCawaii! What does “S” mean to you?
I wonder. Hmm, Seiya from Shimofuri (Myojo)! It’s S from shinyuu [best friend] too. He got married recently so I’m a little lonely. It can also be S from samishii [lonely]. The 3 of us went to dinner before they got married, so it can also be S from sannin [three people]. HAHAHAHAHA!

Q. Someone or something that you’re pouring your love into right now?
The solo track that (Domoto) Tsuyoshi-kun produced for me. The song’s theme is ‘love’ as well and I also sang it at the karaoke the other day. I love it the more I sing it.

Q. The maximum temperature is less than 10°! What sort of clothes do you want to wear this winter?
Probably scarves~
I’ve been borrowing my mommy’s black one, but I’d like a colourful one as an accent. Like, an orange scarf against a brown coat or something.

Q. A message of love towards your fans!
I can’t be on the stage without the fans, nor would I be able to deliver my performance. SixTONES are able to perform in big venues because lots of people come, so I have nothing but gratitude to them. I hope to be someone that they can love all sides of, and I plan to repay all the love that I’ve received as well.

TAIGA KYOMOTO
Incredibly beautiful, as usual.
His beauty is like a work of art. He smiles offhandedly and it goes straight to my heart. When he talks about episodes of his admired senpai, he was rather happy and was a mix of cute and cool.

Q. Where would you go if you were to go somewhere with your members in winter?
Go to dinner with Jesse. We’ve been talking about going but we haven’t been able to go yet. I want to eat something yummy. Something hot would be nice. Nabe [hotpot] or crab is wintery too.

Q. Where will you meet up to go there?
It’d be natural if we went together after work. We probably won’t meet up specifically on a day off to go out. Jesse often chooses the restaurant, but sometimes he will go along to what I choose.

Q. What’s something that made you happy or laugh out loud recently?
Going to dinner with Fujiwara Tatsuya-san who I look up to! A shared acquaintance has been planning this for years but I keep having to reschedule. It’s finally happened after so many years, and I told him all about the countless number of his works that I’d watched to learn from. It reminded me again of what I aim to be like and hope to be acquainted with him long into the future too.

Q. Someone or something that you’re pouring your love into right now?
“ONE PIECE”. I’d never watched it before. Boys will talk in terms of “ONE PIECE” when they are having fun and everyone says its good too, so I decided to start watching it at the end of July, and now I’m on episode 650. I’ll get home and watch around 3 episodes, and that’s my break.

Q. It’s your first time on SCawaii! What does “S” mean to you?
Sound, I guess. I live my life surrounded by music, so it’s easy to relate anything to music. Also, I like Mr. Children-san’s album called “SOUNDTRACKS” too.

Q. The maximum temperature is less than 10°! What sort of clothes do you want to wear this winter?
I generally only wear down jackets. I’ll buy a down jacket every year. I try to keep the design simple and focus on its functionality. I can’t damage my throat in this job so I take care to stay warm.

Q. A message of love towards your fans!
In our work, we don’t feel satisfaction without receiving any reactions. What I want to thank is everyone writing their thoughts when I uploaded a music video of sorts of my self-written song. It’s very encouraging to know that the lyrics I wrote was able to add colour to somebody’s life. I’m able to find purpose thanks to the fans.

HOKUTO MATSUMURA
How many times, no, how many billion times has his sexiness got me.
……His destructiveness is insane. He mentioned about his love for Oizumi Yo-san in the interview, but he self-rebutted “but I talked about it in a previous interview”. How thoughtful he is when he speaks is super duper adorable too!

Q. It’s your first time on SCawaii! What does “S” mean to you?
When I hear ‘S’, SixTONES comes to mind first! That’s how much the group is a part of my daily life. Furthermore, there are 2 S’s in SixTONES. And there’s S from Shintarou too (laughs). And from there, other things that I like, like “SONGS” on NHK that Oizumi Yo-san hosts, come to mind too.

Q. What’s something that made you happy or laugh out loud recently?
My best friend went with me to the event that I wanted to go to. I’m the only one who was interested, and my best friend only knew a little about it. But he said he’ll come along if it meant we could hang out. The combination of going to the event I wanted to go to and going with a friend doubled my happiness, it was a happy set (laughs).

Q. Someone or something that you’re pouring your love into right now?
I play games the whole day when I’m free. I play “suika game” that I brought with me today as well. When I get bored of suika game, I’ll play Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, and when I get bored of that, I’ll play Mario’s Pricross before going back to suika game.

Q. Where would you go if you were to go somewhere with your members in winter?
Somewhere warm! Hawaii! I want to say “it’s really cold in Japan right now” when I’m there (laughs).

Q. Where will you meet up to go there?
I think it’d be fun to meet up at the airport. If we go on a holiday, I think Shintarou will take charge, but wouldn’t it be hard to find a consensus with 6 people? When I think things aren’t going well, I’m the type to say “it’s fine, it’s fine”.

Q. The maximum temperature is less than 10°! What sort of clothes do you want to wear this winter?
Something cute that uses fuzzy pieces. A turtleneck with a chunky down jacket that zipped up to the top, with a scarf on top. It doesn’t look over the top when it’s this cold.

Q. A message of love towards your fans!
In creating SixTONES, fans are an essential element. For example, if we create a concert, we don’t win unless it’s more exciting that than the fan’s fervour. That’s how amazing everyone’s excitement is, “we can’t make something that will pale in comparison to that” is an important requirement for us. We’ll work hard so that your life will have more parts of happiness.

YUGO KOCHI
He’s so cute that I want to protect him.
Super cutey Kouchi-kun with pearly round eyes and a sparkling smile. When we said “we’d like some photos with a sweeter feel”, he replied cutely with “got it! (grins)” and showed us lots of cute expressions.

Q. It’s your first time on SCawaii! What does “S” mean to you?
Speed, speedy. In work and in private, I like to eliminate unnecessary things so that things can go efficiently and smoothly. That sort of rhythm is really comfortable. I also like to plan things, so it’s probably also S for schedule (laughs).

Q. The maximum temperature is less than 10°! What sort of clothes do you want to wear this winter?
I want to wear a slightly more luxe down jacket. A lightweight and warm one that’s good enough so that I can get by with wearing just a t-shirt underneath. It doesn’t haven’t to be exactly that though, it’s just an idea. A flashier colour like a bright blue or green would be nice.

Q. What’s something that made you happy or laugh out loud recently?
I met up with a friend from school after 5 years. We’ve always been talking about going camping and now we finally were able to go, it was lots of fun. We were laughing our guts out while staring at the campfire, it was a really nice time.

Q. Where would you go if you were to go somewhere with your members in winter?
Camping with Shintarou is what I’m getting excited about, so probably that. And in winter especially, the stars are really pretty. The air is clear which makes it easier to start a fire, it’s the perfect season for camping.

Q. Where will you meet up to go there?
Maybe somewhere where we can see Mt. Fuji would be nice. I’d like to go to the Yamanashi region, so I’ll go to Shintarou’s place and pick him up. We could go individually, but it’s more fun to be together in the car (laughs). We both own camping gear, so we should be able to do anything if we bring them. The only thing left is to decide on a date (laughs).

Q. Someone or something that you’re pouring your love into right now?
The anime “ONE PIECE”. I started watching it since 2 years ago, and I finally caught up and can now watch the new episodes in real time. Seriously~ that sense of accomplishment. And of course, I’ve watched all the movies too.

Q. A message of love towards your fans!
I check the comments on YouTube when I have the time, and I work hard with the mind to make our fans happy. I’d be happy if you could come to think “I want to see more of them like that!”. Let’s evolve together, step by step, and create big love together!

SHINTARO MORIMOTO
Your pulse going off the charts because of his manliness.
His manly visuals suit him so well it’s unfair♡ He’s also really lively in the interviews! He’s so energetic that I want to replicate it in a loud voice, and that side of him is super lovely too.

Q. It’s your first time on SCawaii! What does “S” mean to you?
Shintarou! I like the name “Shintarou” itself. There was a time back then when I looked up to cool names like “Juri” and “Hokuto”, but the name “Shintarou” is cute when you write it in hiragana, and it’s easy to remember as well. On the phone too, it’s nice that people understand straightaway when I say “’Shintarou’ as in ‘Ishihara Shintarou’”.

Q. Someone or something that you’re pouring your love into right now?
Camping. I started getting interested in autumn, and I’m enjoying it heaps right now. I’m a contrarian, so I don’t like to go with the trends, but I feel like the [camping] craze has died down a little right now, so yes, now’s the time♪ When I go camping, I love how the flow of time is completely different to when I’m in the city. The starry skies late at night are also really pretty!

Q. What’s something that made you happy or laugh out loud recently?
Lately, I’ve been watching “Ookami Shounen” both on streaming and in real time, and it makes me happy when Juri and Jesse make people laugh, and I laugh along too.

Q. The maximum temperature is less than 10°! What sort of clothes do you want to wear this winter?
It’s my rule to incorporate a flight cap for my winter clothes. That base is already set, so the rest is finding something new! I’ve already bought the cap this year, so I want to get some fur sandals.

Q. Where would you go if you were to go somewhere with your members in winter?
Hokkaido with Jesse! There’s that famous place right? The one with 3 characters… Niseko! I’d like to visit a resort during heavy snow, but none of the members want to go with me. But Jesse should say “okay, let’s go!”.

Q. Where will you meet up to go there?
Meet up at Haneda. Or, I’ll drive and pick up Jesse. I’ll arrange for all the tickets too, so, I’ll tell him to just get to Haneda. We can meet up at Shinagawa or Hamamatsucho as well though?! (laughs)

Q. A message of love towards your fans!
I feel your love when I hear your voices and when you get excited and sing along with us. You know, I love SixTONES’ music. So it feels like everyone came to karaoke together at our concerts, and it’s super fun. All of you, I don’t just like you, but love you ‘kay?!

JURI TANAKA
His list of charms is too endless.
Needless to say about his looks, but his mischievousness, freshness, cuteness - the various expressions and charms that he can deliver are truly endless. His humour shown on variety shows and YouTube are a favourite too.

Q. What’s something that made you happy or laugh out loud recently?
I was filming for the drama, but an accident caused the shoot to be cancelled for the rest of the day. Of course, I had nothing else planned since I was going to be working, but then I suddenly got a day off. That made me happy. I went for a massage and just relaxed at home though.

Q. Where would you go if you were to go somewhere with your members in winter?
Go snowboarding with everyone. I don’t really feel like hanging out with just the 2 of us. If I were to create memories with one of them, then I’d rather it be with all of us. It’s not that I dislike hanging out as 2, but why not go as 6 if the schedules work out.

Q. Where will you meet up to go there?
We’ll take 1 or 2 cars and pickup the ones nearby, or get them to come over to my place to meet up. Shintarou would be the one to make the plans, but it’ll depend on what we’re doing. He’ll plan the dates, but a lot of the time it’s me or Jesse who choose the restaurants. It depends on our strengths. For snowboarding too, it’ll be good if someone who knows a good place can make the plans.

Q. It’s your first time on SCawaii! What does “S” mean to you?
Only S from S,M,L comes to mind! So I suppose S for small. Or S for sadistic. I can only think of things that use the letter S by itself. You don’t call a supermarket ‘S’ after all.

Q. The maximum temperature is less than 10°! What sort of clothes do you want to wear this winter?
I like to stay cool in summer and stay warm in winter. I’m fine with wearing whatever’s weather appropriate.

Q. Someone or something that you’re pouring your love into right now?
A beatboxing pro called “SHOW-GO”.
I accidently found him on YouTube, but I saw his videos and really like them. His skills are amazing for sure, but the atmosphere he creates is also amazing. It’s art-like and really lovely.

Q. A message of love towards your fans!
To be honest, I think I’ll be done in 1 or 2 sentences if I put it into words. “Thank you always and please support us in the future too.” But these words mean so much. I’ve been doing this job for around 15 years, but that feeling has never changed. I’m very grateful to the people who support me at each point in time.

ღRecent TMIs
Their relationship is too precious as well

We wanted to know what’s happening with them lately so we asked about the trending “TMI [Too Much Information]”. There was endless “ahahaha!!” and laughter in the group interview. Enjoy their super fun updates♪

【What is TMI?】
It’s the acronym for ‘too much information’ and a hot word lately that means talking about something that no one really cares about. It might be a story that they think is pointless, but to us, it’s super precious info.

They’re geniuses at talking too!!

Matsumura: I don’t really understand “TMI” so someone start with something.
Morimoto: I can’t eat corn. There’s an urban legend that corn is a plant that originated from space, or something like that? I’ve got another one too, I took home the firewood that I bought for camping and left it at the entrance, but it worked as a deodoriser and freshened up the air. Though it might be because I’ve also got charcoal too.
Other 5: Ehh?!!
Kouchi: Now it makes me want to put out some firewood too (laughs).
Morimoto: And also, I’ve been drinking hard water lately, so I’ve been doing number two’s around 4 times a day. If I don’t drink hard water, it goes down to twice a day.
Kouchi: This morning, mine looked like something out of an anime (laughs).
Jesse: I’m next. Only one of the lights work in my living room.
Other 5: Ahahaha!! (ROFL)
Tanaka: Change out the light bulbs! (laughs)
Jesse: It’s so annoying to. But it’s nice since it’s like mood lighting.
Tanaka: How many lights are there in your living room?
Jesse: 6. Right now there’s only a spotlight on my dining table.
Morimoto: Change them. Do you want me to bring over some lightbulbs?
Kouchi: You don’t know the correct wattage right?
Morimoto: I’ll take out the old one and check, then buy the same one.
Matsumura: You can just take the old one to the hardware store. They’ll find it if you show them “this one please”.
Kyomoto: Jesse relies on his mommy for everything after all.
Jesse: Yes, I only have one [working] in my bathroom too. That’s just the perfect amount of brightness.
Kyomoto: I got a new phone yesterday. Pre-orders started at 9pm but I was a bit late and placed the order at 11pm. Those 2 hours made the wait 2-3 weeks, and it finally arrived yesterday.
Morimoto: I didn’t place a pre-order, but I was able to buy it in store on the day.
Kyomoto: I bought it from the company directly.
Morimoto: Ahh, then yours is better then.
Kyomoto: It’s the same (laughs). Data can be transferred from one phone to another nowadays right? The estimated transfer time that first showed up was unbelievable.
Matsumura: I talked about that on radio before. The shop assistant said to allow for 2 hours for the transfer, but it was done in 20 minutes. It’s a common thing when you change phones.
Kouchi: Okay, now me. My cactus fell over due to the strong winds. I was letting it sit in the sun, but then it fell over when I was in Osaka.
Matsumura: That cactus, is the one that you’re going to give me an offshoot from right?
Kouchi: It’s growing right now so wait until the roots are developed okay?
Jesse: What angle is it at right now? The direction, it’s important.
Kouchi: Umm… north-east (laughs).
Jesse: How old are you again Kouchi?
Kouchi: Uh, 29.
Jesse: It can’t be north-east when you’re 29 years old. Direction-wise.
Morimoto: Ah, I’ve got another one! In my 3-day break the other day…
Kouchi: Oi, you have too much to say (laughs). Give Juri one.
Matsumura: What do you mean “give” (laughs).
Tanaka: I oxi-cleaned my towels and door mat. I thought 6 hours was too long and wanted to do it for 3 hours, but the other day, I let them soak before I went to bed. I slept for just under 5 hours, brushed my teeth and everything, and the [towels] came out really clean after 5 hours or so. As a result, it’s better to do it properly for 6 hours than just 3!
Morimoto: Can I continue now? I went for a drive in my 3-day break. There was an accident on the highway towards Yamanashi, so there was a traffic jam. Usually it’d take me 1.5 hours to get to my destination, but it showed up as 3 hours on my navigation and when I checked the non-highway route, it said 2.5 hours. In that case, not taking the highway is my only option right? But 2.5 hours later, I was still 10km away from my destination. So I went back on the highway, and it took me another 2.5 hours. I drove for around 5 hours in the end and my bum was sore.
Matsumura: It’s hard to say since it’s sometimes the right choice to not take the highway.
Kyomoto: There have been lots of life hack-like stories (laughs).
Tanaka: Is this really TMI? (laughs)
Matsumura: I’m last huh. I need to make it something TMI-worthy. There was a hot day in November right?
Jesse: Yeah, it was hot!
Matsumura: The place I went to was doing bon-odori. Bon-odori on a hot day in November [T/N: Bon-odori usually occurs August/September]. I felt like Japan gave up on autumn and decided to have summer again. So. So? So mine was the best [TMI] right?
Morimoto: That is actually something that no one needs to know about (laughs).

ღ Love them more by ‘watching’ & ‘listening’

Their new album “THE VIBES” will be released on January 10! We can’t wait until the release so we did a thorough interview about the highlights of the album. Their comical selves are on full blast here as well! (laughs)

Looking forward to this album in the new year ♡

It’s cool and you can tell that this is our vibe from listening to it

- When did you start working on this album?
Jesse: Around summertime.
Tanaka: If we’re talking about the album concept, then it’s way before then.
Kyomoto: Rather than the concept, we decided on the title first.
Kouchi: Our label suggested it and we thought it was good too.
Jesse: We kicked-off from there. Yeah!

- You’re still in the process of finishing it, but how do you think the album will turn out?
Morimoto: I think it’s going to be a cool one. There are a lot of new things that we’ve tried out for the first time too!
Matsumura: Which again?
Morimoto: (with a grin) There’s that sha-sha-sha♪ one! Our first winter song!
Kouchi: Yes, you’re right.
Morimoto: There’s a winter song, but also sporty ones that can warm you up too. In my mind anyway.

- Please tell us about the unit songs too.
Jesse: We choose the songs ourselves for the duets.
Morimoto: We choose pieces that can only be done by that pair. Something that’s possible because it’s 2 and not 6.
Jesse: But it’s possible as 6 too. If we really wanted to. We won’t though (laughs). By the way for Kouchi and my song, it’s a genre that Kouchi listens to often, and it’s something that I haven’t sang before. Ah, as SixTONES that is. I’ve sang this [genre] in private.
Kouchi: Who cares! (laughs)
Tanaka: He wanted to get the message across.
Matsumura: So that people wouldn’t think “so he doesn’t sing this sort of music at karaoke?!” (laughs)
Morimoto: That wouldn’t be good.
Kyomoto: It’s embarrassing if people think that way?!
Jesse: It’s like, the 2 of our images just come together nicely. Like a sunset, or maybe orange, colour-wise.
Matsumura: The song’s warmth does feel orange.
Morimoto: For me and Kyomo’s song, we wanted to go all out and do something crazy, so we chose a Japanese rock vibe that we both listen to often. We’re probably the only 2 who can give off this sort of feel, something different to everyone else, and I think it’s given a new colour to the album too.
Kyomoto: Kouchi made the final decision though.
Kouchi: Yeah, and that’s what’s nice. From how many, 2-3 choices? And I said “this one is good”.
Morimoto: Daddy crane’s cry. [T/N: the cry of a crane is a Japanese saying equivalent to ‘a voice of authority’]
Matsumura: Daddy crane (laughs)
Kouchi: Shush (laughs). Things moved really quickly for you and Juri’s unit song didn’t it?!
Matsumura: It might shock you, but we recorded at the same time!
Kyomoto: At the same time?!
Tanaka: Yeah. We were in the booth together and we were almost chatting normally with the music playing in the back, and that’s how we went.
Matsumura: He kept talking to me even when we weren’t recording. And they were all hilarious episodes so I replied “why?! (laughs) loudly and killed my voice a bit.
Tanaka: We were fooling around so much while recording. We were laughing like crazy.
Jesse: That’s great!
Morimoto: Your laughs were recorded too right? There’s a natural atmosphere to it right?!
Matsumura: Don’t talk about it like it’s a photo (laughs).

- Well then, a message please for everyone who’s looking forward to the new album!
Tanaka: You’ll know when you listen to it.
Morimoto: See, these are our vibes.
Kouchi: When you finish listening to it, what will your vibes be like?
Kyomoto: You won’t know unless you listen to it. Listen if you want to know! ……Our vibes are like this but is that okay (grins).
Kouchi: They’re seriously all amazing.
Jesse: You won’t be bored.
Matsumura: It’s the coolest one yet.
Kyomoto: There aren’t many bright songs, in a good way. Without worrying about the climate or whether people will like it a lot, in a good way, we just chose all the songs that we thought were cool.
Morimoto: Yeah, there are lots that we like. In that sense, this is an album filled to the brim with the vibes we like!

ღ Lovable things about my lovable members

Lastly, we asked them to say a lovable thing about each member. When you finish reading this, you’ll definitely feel warmed. And, love them even more and more.

I hope all 6 members will be filled with love from now on as well

(The lovable things about my members - by Kouchi Yuugo)

With Jesse, it’s how he’s so pure. Like not changing a lightbulb because he doesn’t know how to (laughs), his honesty in how he doesn’t hide what he doesn’t understand is lovable. When Taiga has his mouth stuffed with dessert, it’s adorable no matter how old he is. Satisfaction is all over his face when he eats [sweets]. When Hokuto is playing the recently trending “suika game”. He’s obsessed with it and I play it with him sometimes, but seeing him play so seriously is kinda lovable (laughs). With Shintarou, it’s how straightforward he is with his hobbies. I’m the type to tread carefully before getting hooked, but he rockets right into things straightaway. With Juri, everything shows on his face. When he’s tired or sleepy, he’ll puff up his cheeks like a kid. Personally, I think Juri is more lovable when he’s not entirely switched on (laughs).

(The lovable things about my members - by Jesse)

When Taiga laughs or makes a small mistake, how he covers his mouth with his hand is cute. With Hokuto, he watched the show that I recommended to him and he just told me “it was really good”. What a lovable guy! Next is Kouchi. (Kouchi is standing nearby and looking up at Jesse) This! He sees a chance to get attention and acts cute. But it is cute though (laughs). Shintarou will become obsessed once he’s interested in something. Like a fish who takes the bait immediately. He’ll take the bait even if he’s not hungry. Though he gets bored easily too and it’s over in around 3 days. With Juri, how he can fall sleep anywhere like a baby is cute. How he sleeps with his mouth open is super lovable!

(The lovable things about my members - by Matsumura Hokuto)
Previously, Jesse would boke in front of us, and seeing him gradually enjoy fooling around is cute. Kyomoto is a quick-thinker, but he’s off his rocker sometimes (laughs). He’ll say something and laugh at it himself, and that’s cute as a person. Kouchi is the eldest, and although he has a reliable personality, he has a younger-brother-like side. He gets along with others and it makes me want to protect that happy atmosphere he gets in. Shintarou always believes that the 6 of us met due to fate, and seeing him be like that is lovable. Although Juri gives off a scary image, he gets really happy when others tsukkomi him strongly, and same when others tease him. In the end, I think he really likes us.

(The lovable things about my members - by Morimoto Shintarou)

It’s how Jesse laughs honestly. It’s absolutely the most lovable thing. I hope he will always and forever be able to laugh carefreely like that. Kyomo often doesn’t see around him and solely focuses on the things he likes. Especially when it comes to games. How he’s super concentrated and enjoying himself is good. Hokuto looks really happy when he’s with the members. So much so that I think “you should show that side of you at other times!” (laughs). With Kouchi, when I ask him about bikes or camping, he’ll show off his knowledge unstoppably like a kid and I like that about him. Juri, it’s when he's tired. When he sulks with “I’m sleepy, I can’t do this anymooooore” like an annoying child, it’s actually adorable, totes lovable!

(The lovable things about my members - by Kyomoto Taiga)

Jesse comes to watch my stage plays and will contact me both before and after the show. He’ll share his thoughts with me afterwards and that makes me happy. Hokuto is considerate and tries so that no one is left out or feels sad. I see him as someone who is mindful towards the minority. Kouchi is a tennen [air-head]. He’ll say weird things like “Japan’s the only place where CD albums exist” in our cross-talks (laughs). That’s cute. It’s obvious to the eye about what Shintarou is obsessed about or influenced by. He sparkles when he wants to share his new discoveries with us. I like Juri when he’s talking with senpais. He’s a good communicator and gets along very well with the senpais. It’s great that he’s able to build a relationship where he can call “Kiriyama” without honorifics.

(The lovable things about my members - by Tanaka Juri)

Jesse may not look it, but he’s a worrier. He wants words of affirmation that he was funny, and he has lots of friends because he gets lonely easily. That part of him makes me want to support him. Kyomo is needy. He wants me to listen to him and he bothers me often too. Hokuto is bad at voicing his opinion at meetings with others. He’ll say it under his voice in the car. It’s kinda cute that he wants someone to listen to him (laughs). Kouchi’s an idiot (laughs). He looks reliable, but he’ll move suddenly and make a mistake. But he apologises immediately. And I think that’s wonderful. Although Shintarou has heaps of friends in private as well, the fact that he likes spending time with the members is youngest-like and cute.
