So I've just been sitting around chain smoking my clove cigarettes (because I guess I'm a closet goth), drinking every stray beer I can find in the fridge, and writing songs. I've taken a break from the music

Those lyrics are awesome and I totally relate to them except whiskey is my man, not woman. I wrote a poem/lyrics a while back about Jim Beam being my man, hahaha.

Yeah i knew you had good taste! Glad you like it. It's only about halfway done yet, but with as easily as I pulled this out of my ass, I'm sure the rest won't take long. I've already got some of the music written for it too. And I think you should post your Jim Beam poem.

I'll think about posting the Jim Beam poem if I can still find it. I'm always paranoid that someone's going to steal my writing and take credit for it...or tell me it's shit.

Yeah I thought of that when I posted this, but whatever. It's not like I plan on selling it or anything. I'll definitely let you hear it when it's done. It'll be awhile just because after I finish the lyrics, I still have to structure it and write drum parts and then record it. Along with the small handful of others I've started on. And I couldn't take it as anything other than the highest compliment if something I wrote made someone cry. Well unless of course they were crying because it's so god awfully horrible. I have another one that's way more sad than this. I'll post the lyrics to that one of these days too. It's a real tearjerker
