Okay...Have you thought about going with the Korse/Lynn part in the beginning,explaining their feelings/rage etc.
The backstory? Maybe that they a)helped build Batter City,but then everything went to bananas on health,safety & tuning down your emotions that they bailed like "THIS SHIT IS BANANAS" AND SOME OF THEM WERE SCARECROWS. AND THEY FUCKING BAILED.
Perhaps Korse thinks that they brainwashed Ray?

Maybe start off with the Gerard/Dr.D part,where Mikey walks in into ((with Frank?),going like OMFG I THINK I SAW A DRACULOIDDDSSSS
AND THEY SEND GEE & RAY TO CHECK.

At first Gee just lounges around,bored (so does Mikey)

And about the Korse part.... THIS CALLS FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT X3
Make him malfunction. Make him look for the Killjoys in his stupidity.
He gets found by Frank and Show Pony, almost fucking dead,so unrecognizeable because he's not wearing RUFFLES.
AND HE'S ACTING SO FUCKING STRANGE. LIKE HE'S HUMAN. IS HE HUMAN? OR JUST A BOT? //if human,then he's sick not malfunctioning. Or he has been weaning himself off of the BL.Ind pills OF HIS OWN STUPIDITY

Korse is a person not a bot... AND HE IS SICKLY and eventually Lynn is going to like... LOCK HIS ASS UP and pretend to be all "oh get better bby!" but in reality will be like >:] I'M IN CHARGE NOW! and I want them to kidnap Grace like in NA NA NA and at first I was like "THEYLL DO IT BECAUSE SHE'S TECHNICALLY BL/IND PROPERTY!" but now I'm like... uhhh just to fuck with Ray?

and oh God yes Korse WILL go hunt the killjoys EVENTUALLY I just always get so caught up in SLOW, NATURAL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT that I feel like I'll never get around to it (I'm so bad at writing chaptered slash stuff because I'm like NO TIME FOR SEX!!! MUST DEVELOP CHARACTERS FURTHER!)

Gerard and Mikey lounging together will be the ONLY way to make them talk and I guess Mikey can be all like NOW IM HAPPY THAT IM HERE BECAUSE I LOVE ME SOME FRANKIE!! *gushgushgush* and Gerard can be like :|||| IM YOUR BIG BROTHER STOP TELLING ME THESE THINGS and then they can hug it out or something <3

He probably means Gracie,but Mikey could take that very wrong since he's dirty-minded 'cause he's thinking about Frank.
Yeah,I get what you mean about the Franks past thing, you don't need to make it really traumatic... but just HARD. LIFE CHANGING.
He was controlled by BL.IND, 'rescued' by a Wavehead in the city & left wandering in the fucking desert,with a raygun by his side that he couldn't use since he didn't know hell about it.
