The Bitch Clique
So at my high school there is a group of girls who pretty much are trying to immitate Mean Girls. They're a bunch of freshman who call themselves "The Bitch Clique" and to sit with them there are certain requirements:
1. you MUST be a 00
2. you cannot be taller than 5'8" (I believe)
3. you cannot weight more than 120 lbs
4. you must wear certain colored shirts on certain days
5. everyone in the group has to keep a designated pair of jeans in their locker (so if they aren't wearing that days brand they can change)
6. when sitting at lunch you are arranged from ugliest to prettiest
7. you CANNOT eat anything but the designated food of the day
8. you go through a week of hazing
9. you can only talk to other girls in "The Bitch Clique"
10. you have to fill out an application to sit with or speak to members of "The Bitch Clique"
If that isn't insane enough, girls are actually buying into it. There has been an outbreak of annorexia amongst freshmen girls who are trying to make themselves thin enough and pretty enough to be seen with the clique. There's only 10 girls in the group but apparently they're just flooded with applications.
About a week ago a teacher walked into one of the girls bathrooms and caught "The Bitch Clique" taking turns puking in one of the toilets while the others kept watch. Apparently, eating disorders have gotten so bad that we had a mandatory all girls meeting today about the risk of eating disorders and the school is trying to think of ways to break up "The Bitch Clique"
