She comes to feel it like a real part of herself. If she can feel her lightsabe this way, why not her prosthetics? They are more intimate to her body than a weapon that mirrors her Force sense- they're her, they're part of her being. She wills them to move and they move, even without the Force, and she doesn't want to rely to o much on the Force- she can remember her life before she discovered it. She becomes a symbiont and that makes her stronger- she knows now that she is to the Force like her mechanical parts are to her, different yet united, a part of a whole.
