Yes, but we're not sure where yet; the toughest part will be finding another week we're all free.

BTW, I really like that icon. It must have been a remarkably clear sunset to get such long shadows that are still nice and clear.

Cool!

Heh-heh-unfortunately, since I'm no longer going to be out of the country I have to help coordinate a scientific advisory committee meeting on Monday for the larges project I'm working on. I only got away from it originally because nobody remembered to ask me when I'd be available before the date was set.

The amazing thing is that Eyjafjallajökull (which, technically, is the name of the glacier and not of the volcano) is a pipsqueak compared to the major volcanoes that have erupted in recent decades.

I might get Stephanie-ちゃん to lobby for that, and I think it'd be fun to see the church where he was Cantor, but I don't think I'd get enough interest in the whole group to devote half a day to that.

Severe bummer. Double-bummer that you get to do more work instead.

Yeah, sigh; luckily I'd also planned a quick trip to Seattle, which is still on.

Technically speaking, I think Spock is merely the patron saint of volcanoes; Pele would give him a pāhoehoe enema if he tried to muscle in on the god biz. He is, however, the god of awesome cheesy music videos from the 60s:
