So I was brushing our cat Pandora the other day, and the brush bristles kept getting caught on something on her back: swish-SCRACCCK-swish, swish-SCRAPE-swish,.... I investigated, and after a few minutes of burrowing into her long, lush fur, I discovered a pea-sized, polka-dotted brown nodule attached to her skin. Thanks! She seems to have taken this whole thing better than we have. We've been either freaked (before) or grossed (after) out, and she hasn't cared in the least. It's a wonder that she hasn't yanked all her sutures out; I suspect they're flavored with garlic or some other nasty-tasting substance.

Aw, poor cat. Yeah, Pandora got better so fast that I didn't even notice a recovery phase-just the ongoing "I have no clue how ugly I look with this thing on my back" phase.
