So glad I'm getting my first covid vaccine shot tomorrow. Apparently it's the Moderna vaccine. First step to normalcy hopefully. I'm always glad when I hear people got vaccinated (colleagues, and on FB).
It'll take a few weeks and a second shot and a few more weeks to build immunity... but within 2-3 months from now I should be all set, at least for the time being. Now if they would only lift travel restrictions to the Netherlands - they still demand a negative test within 24 hours. Which is a pretty tall order.
Starting to think again about next steps and maybe moving. Work finally appears to be picking up again, had a dry spell for the last 3 months (only 1 small project) which is always uncomfortable as a consultant. Because what's to stop them from saying we don't need you anymore because we have no work? You're not generating any revenue? Ugh, that's a downside of consultancy.
Anyway what else is new. Landlady & her caretaker appear to not be home since last week Friday at least, I'm wondering.
Oh yeah also dentist tomorrow which coincidentally was on the same day as the vaccine. Good I took the afternoon off.
