About updating!!! Just been real busy. :( Dogs are coming into the shelters at the highest rate I have ever seen. Doesn't anyone want their dogs in the Spring and Summer?

Also, been busy with my new doggy. LOL She is so small compared to the other pups. She's a pretty smart little thing. Really happy that we were able to save her from the gas chamber. Now working on this one.
She has defeated death twice now due to the stupid people losing her cage card. Each time they issued her a new one they had to hold her for 5 more days. We tried to pull her this morning from the same shelter that my other one came from. They wouldn't release her until Sat. but the person pulling her is out of town on Sat. so we have to wait till the shelter reopens on Tues. Just praying that these dumb arses don't do one of their famous mix-ups and gasses her before then. :(
She's been identified as a lab/pit mix but no one sees the pit in her. She is about 4-5 months old. Hard for any dog labeled pit to get adopted or rescued especially down in GA. :( This shelter is run by the police department and they gas almost 400 animals a month. So if I can save one or two, I feel I have accomplished something. I'm doing this as a rogue rescue with some other folks that are putting up the funds. Hoping to get her to a rescue cuz I sure don't need another dog. :)
