glimpses into my new years eve
On new years eve we hosted a murder mystery dinner party that was set in the 60's. Wanted to share some of the fabulous photos and costumes from the evening!
First, this is what the invitation said,
THE TRAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR
Dear chicks and dudes,
After finding new dimensions of consciousness writing my enlightening songs, I've decided to share this summer of love with my closest friends and invite you all on a week-long trip on board my infamous psychedelic peace bus.
I will be performing at Beefstock and you are all invited to be part of my conspiracy of love, spreading peace and sugar cubes laced with sunshine along the way. Can you dig it?
We will embark on our historic journey after sharing the communal human experience of watching the first man set foot on the moon.
Please join me. It'll be your best trip ever.

The premise is that then Hedda Leiss is murdered and all of us in her entourage spend the evening trying to figure out who did it!

Ming, as Reina Terra- the ultimate groupie
Jay, as Philip Mabong- the sketchy record producer
Shawna, as Jamaica Bomblast - the groups 'herbal' medicine supplier
Chris, as Nate Ashbury, the left-wing student activist
Quinn as Burnette DeBrah, the women's rights politician
and
Eva as Enya Goddard-Daveeda, the former Miss Wisconcsin
James as Juan Stepford Mann, the astronaut hanging out with the wrong crowd
and Kevin, as Timothy Bleary- the flower power cult leader

As the night wore on things got sillier and sillier and sleepier too....
