There is some doubt as to whether Santa will bring toys to children overnight. Countries such as Yakastanovia have closed their airspace to Santa unless he agrees to bring toys to all the kids, regardless of whether they have been naughty or nice. One of the rulers of Yakastanovia, Evelyn Nastie, has denied this is the reason for banning Santa, instead insisting that Santa has been banned on environmental grounds because the importation of coal encourages children to contribute to global warming.
