2006: New year... Literally starting from scratch....
So, yeah..... The 612's Phenomenal of 2005 is dead... seriously dead....
While on vacation, my laptop died, taking with it all my work... most importantly, it ate all the songs I've made since moving to Orlando in august. Ode to Eggman, New Era, The Music (both the demo and the unplugged version) and my new beat I've been slaving over since before christmas: "I'm Phenomenal"...
luckily, I have all of the songs on my iPod, which is currenly under the process of returning my 3500+song library to the laptop... However, I wanted to re-record the vocals with my new Mic (which is AMAZING!).... to do that, I'd hafta put in a lot of hours re-making new era and ode to eggman (which I might do on this extended weekend). The Music, I have a workable early version of it on my computer at home that I can use to remake everything from. As for "I'm Phenomenal", well, I wanted to do a few things to the beat, but I've already recorded a very rough demo for my good friend Cakehead using the beat I had off my iPod. I'm considering re-making the beat as well, which will be simpler than the other songs, but just as time-consuming.
The mic (A Blue Snowball) is AMAZING! simply amazing.... It has a very professional sound and feel to it. I literally recorded "I'm Phenomenal" in minutes with it. I'm very pleased with it. When I get home from school, I will definitely record a better version of "I'm Phenomenal" and have it up on the myspace. That's it for now. Good night kids
