I don't often check my LJ. Scarce is a better word. But I do think of my LJ Flisters often.
How are you? Enjoying retirement?
As an aside, my husband came in and saw the BMcK background and said, wow. haven't seen that for a loooong time :)

Famous world is pretty good. It's more than good. My kids are getting big. 5, 4, & 2. They're keeping me busy. Work is meh. But it's still a good job. The husband is good. His job situation has been a roller coaster for the last few years and he's finally an up.
Both my brother and sister are marrying off their oldest child in February. I can't believe we're up to that stage. My husband's brother is also getting married in Feb. (actually, all 3 weddings are in span of 1 week!) My husband has ha 2 other siblings get married in the last year or so. So it's been filled with lots of joy. But everything is less joyous without my mom around. I still feel very lost without her.

Sounds like many good things in your life, hopefully outweighing the loss of your mom. Your little famouses are at such a great age. Enjoy every exhausting moment of it!

Very close, indeed. Did you enjoy Amsterdam? Pretty town, isn't it?

Very pretty. In our day & 1/2 there we saw the Anne Frank House, the Rijksmuseum, the Heineken 'Experience', the floating flower market, ate at the Red lion (best split pea soup in town) Zeppos (best lentil soup of my life)and the Haeje Claes for typical Dutch food. I would definitely go back. MrChic didn't get to see the Red Light District!
