The Ocean
I had the best night ever on Friday. Me and some people from school went to Folly beach. It was the first time I had sen the ocean since I was like 4, s it was the first time I had seen the ocean since I can remember. I had a blast. We hunted along the beach for shells by the light provided by our cell phones and I'm sure we looked rather silly, but I couldn't care less.
It was kind of disorienting. I'd never seen water for as far as I could see, and with the sound of the waves and the stars out, it was just beautiful. If only a certain someone was there to share the experience, it would have been perfect.
I can't wait to go home and see her, and it won't be long now. I'm so excited, I can't contain myself.
