"Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy." She has the sound of a voice singing that never belonged to any of the Eagles (not even one that left before they got famous) to warn her, then John's arms come around her from behind, and he's warm and solid at her back, nuzzling her hair.
"Come on baby, don't say maybe. I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me."
Erica grins widely and sways with him, signing as loud as she can, not caring how she sounds or how good or bad it is.
"We may lose, and we may win, though we will never be here again. So open up I'm climbin' in, and take it easy."
She turns, her grin is still bright as she looks at him. "Hi." She kisses him, then pulls back to grin at him again, eyes dancing. "Hi, baby," she repeats.
