Happy Birthday
Yesterday was my birthday and it was alright all in all. Odviously I will do most of celebrating with other people on other days but I had some fun. I woke up early so I could drive down from Orlando to Tampa to sign up for classes. The other cars must've known it was my 20th birthday because I barely hit any traffic on 1-4 and 1-75 and even SR54 was pretty clear. Awesome. I signed up for my classes and this is what I'll be taking next semester.
1) Algebra (the second college level of it...I tested out of the first on my placement test!)
2) Teaching Diverse Populations (this one recquires field work, but it shouldn't be too bad)
3) Public Speaking (I do radio...how hard can public speaking be??? I hope I won't regret typing that)
4) Jogging and Walking (It's a BS 1 credit class..the only downside is it's early)
5) Opera Through The Centuries (this is a short 3 week class that I REALLY am looking foward too!REALLY!)
Anyway all of them (except for Opera but that's not until March) are on the same day!! All of them (except for Jogging) are in the same building and same floor! Awesome! I think I hit the jackpot this semester. It's a Tuesday/Thursday schedule so every weekend is a four day weekend. I could take trips to Orlando and occasionally South Florida if I wanted. I doubt I'll do that much though. I want to be able to chill out where I am.
I drove back and a made good time. Almost stopped in Fort Myers to see Motta but apparently she was already home. Tim's money order (and a birthday card) came in so I am set for money now.
It's pretty weird realizing I am in my 20's. Does that mean it's now weird to use LiveJournal, Myspace and comic books and stuff. Not that it'll stop me.
Thank you everyone who called to wish me a happy birthday and who wrote to me! It was good to know I wasn't forgotten! Thanks Tiff and David for letting me stay over and taking me to Hard Rock!
