FLY HIGH FREEBIRD

I'm tired of two things:

1. Lack of new music: I've found a lot of new music, but due to new anti-downloading laws and the fact that the UW will turn our asses in if they have to, all year it's been too risky to download anything. Daniella's music has helped, but it's been 8 months and I'm pretty comfortable with it now, even if a lot of it was really different from what I used to listen to. I need some new shit on my computer to listen to. I guess I'll have to start borrowing CD's from the the Odegaard library..

2. History midterms: I love the history classes, and I have a good grasp on all of it, but it seems to take far too much time to achieve a grade better than a B+ on a midterm. It's because they're mostly just a couple 25 minute essays, too short to really write an essay, and too long to just bullet off the facts and implications of an event or idea. Which means I get nit-picked for not being clear and concise enough, when I take the time to go over everything, but when I go for clear and concise I'm not including enough detail haha. I guess I'm just not amazing at these things yet, but it isn't really something I can study for (unlike for a multiple choice test), so it's frustrating. These classes, along with Chem 142 curved to a 2.7, mean I won't be getting quite a 3.8 this quarter haha..

Oh, and Valentine's was okay. I couldn't see Daniella until today (which made me really sad), but we both got packages from eachother, and I thought hers was really sweet and I couldn't stop smiling for at least an hour haha. That and I got some other romantic Valentines, and Oscar gave me a frappuccino, which I'd always refused up until now (and drank only because it was a gift). Those things are damn good, so good that I can't drink another or I'd become addicted. Yum...but I'm really craving Indian food...

Sometimes, during chemistry, I wish I was an octopus. That's another story, though.
