Icon Troubles
It's been MONTHS since I've made icons... but now I'm just getting back into and making a few before school starts again...
But I need help. See, I've tried out a few tutorials and now, I've pretty much started trying out new stuff and doing my own thing again. But there's one problem. I can't do text. Words and icons just don't MIX for me. I usually have trouble with the words mixing and blending in with the icon so that it looks like it belongs there. I can do it... sometimes, but do you guys know any tips or tricks or anything?
I COULD ask a community, but since I have such talented icon making friends I decided to ask you guys!
Here's a few of my newer works (including the icon I'm using right now):
LOL notice how there's only tiny text, and no words.
I usually like inventing my own styles, but tutorials help me have something to start off of.
