Today has been interesting, but I guess I should talk about this past weekend first.
Friday of course was BFP. To those of you that were here, I'm glad you came and I hope you had a great time. To those that couldn't make it, I'm sorry you missed out, but there's always another party. To those of you that got here after 11:00, I'm sorry I was unable to notice your attendance (lol). I started the afternoon by picking up the keg with Torry and making a big ole batch of Fuck Me Blue. We began drinking and slowly but surely, people started filing in. The grilling began, and I assume people ate food and drank. I recall most of Erin's law school friends coming, some of Torry's friends coming, most of winggroup coming, and some other random people that don't fit those groupings (Wes, Jackie, my brother, etc). Needless to say, I'm mostly hazy on the night because I think I was trying to finish the keg myself. Wes, Brent, Lin, and I played and sang some outside, and that's about when I had to punch out for the night. I'm certain a good time was had by all.
Saturday was day three of partying for Erin, and day two of partying for me. Torry and Kai stayed the night and we polished off the burgers and hotdogs and hung out with some people at the pool who had a keg going there. After that, Torry, Erin, and I headed to Corrie's for another party where we mostly finished the keg we bought the day before, and the keg that Corrie's roommate got. We met some interesting people and overall had a good time.
Sunday I started worrying more about this red mole looking thing that appeared on my chest about two weeks ago. It's been getting bigger and I knew I needed to do something about it. I checked some stuff out on webMD and started freaking so I went to the GSU health clinic this morning. The doctor there told me she was fairly certain it was a hemangioma and sent me to a dermatologist at Crawford Long. I was still nervous because she said she wasn't 100% and I needed a second opinion. Luckily, she was right and the dermatologist confirmed it's not harmful. It's just a cluster of blood vessels that have poked above the skin. He said it's unusual to get one at my age but not to worry about it and to expect I might get more over the course of my lifetime. This is a big weight off my shoulders.
The other good news of the day is that grades finally came out and I somehow pulled off a 4.0 again this semester. I'm very happy that I managed to do it again, though slightly more unorthodox than last semester. Now only one more semester to go at GSU.
