So, the toe I broke in Bali doesn't bend. I'm not concerned about this; it doesn't hurt; most people don't do much with there toes anyway. It's the fourth toe, the "got none" piggy, it barely touches the ground when I'm on my toes.
So I took ballet and discovered something.
You see, ballet dancers do this thing, where they pop up on their toes, and their ankles sorta lock, so the foot is in line with the leg. To a dancer who has been doing this all her life, this is the most stable, secure position, it's like home. Full upright position.
My locking mechanism on my right foot seems to be broken. I went to pop up, and it went nope. I tried to roll up slowly and went all the way up and nope, right back down. No pain, just, no lock.
The spot that feels...missing... is in the top of the ankle about where it connects with the fourth metatarsal.
So, is my toe the trigger for the lock?
