Talk about something you did that made you feel ashamed of yourself afterwards.
Maybe I should feel ashamed, but part of me holds back. I would like to say it was a different time then. That all those arrows, I passed Dionysos’ way, were all part of the grand scheme.
However, this is how it is.
Gods and Goddesses are what they are. They are over amplified versions of mortals, undying and subject to all the petty cruelties that immortality brings. Even to those having glorious deity status thrust upon them, it is hard-a different kind of hard, but hard nonetheless. We do what we were meant to do-no more and no less.. What excuse that could be certainly will never be thought enough by those made part of the grander scheme of things and sometimes just sometimes, gods and goddesses make amends. Rarely do they apologize or feel ashamed or if they do, rarely do they admit.

.…All right, maybe a little ashamed, but I cannot take the past back. Still, overall, I have left him well enough alone. Dionysos is free from love’s sway for so long as he desires. Our pantheon cannot take anymore of his offspring running about. I swear. Every time I did my job, he produced issue.
