Cupid/Eros ~ Xena/Herc-Greek/Roman Mythology

Write about a time you mocked somebody.
He may not love war but he loves his father.
They will never think to look for him here; Eros, light of heart and peacefully loitering near his father’s throne. No, who would even contemplate the youngish god of love wanting to be near his father’s throne. Sure, they get along well enough but Eros just does not get it; the fighting and warfare, though he does love those arrows and now and again, he even takes advice on how to defend himself. He cannot sit still while his father strategizes and contemplates the mortals below, who pray to him and give offerings in order to have Ares on their side in battle. It is so. Damn. Boring!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, but then there is all the illicit, salacious chatter of the nymphs as they sneak glimpses at his father…. Mmmm nymphs. Having just been introduced by Pan and his ladies to the wonderful world of sex, maybe hanging around his father’s temple every so often to sneak a glimpse of the sneaky nymphs, it may just be worth his while. He can always go visit Hephaestus afterward.
(ooc--Eros is going to be coasting on minimum he will be responding next on the 31stfrom challenge on 24th. That should meet the requirements for membership.)
