Eros’ private rooms are off limits for the evening to the rest of the world that is allowed in the temple. He has done his job; it is time for his own love life to have some priority tonight. Candles lit everywhere, almost as bright as the sun it would seem. When he realizes that it is overkill, he tones it down, leaving just a handful of them around to brighten each room-two on the table; a table full of delicious finger foods and the best of Dionysos’ wines. Presents are hidden all over the room as well.
As he calls for her from wherever she is, Eros sits near the window ledge overlooking his small lake, his small portion of the world.
