(no subject)
Heh.. I log in and decide to write for once and it asked me to "restore previous draft?" and I said yes, and here's what was posted:
Always something different when I don't log on for a while then finally do so. Usually I log in to find the same 2 people doing 90% of the posts. This time alot of people posted but it was mostly negative things.
OK well here's a little more positive-ness for the Livejournal world.
I gots me a girlfriend. Her name is Brittney and she ROCKS.
Finished my first semester at Rhode Island College. Passed everything.
Got a nice job at school as a stagehand.
Well I haven't been thoroughly through my friends' page yet, but from what I see, people are being more positive. And some people who weren't posting the last time I posted, are posting again.
Anyways, as you could tell, the post that never happened was supposed to be posted about a year and a half ago. I am now a senior at RIC. I'll be graduating later this semester. And man, do I have a case of senioritis. I guess because I didn't have it in high school, now's the time. I've been staying up late and I've slept through classes a couple of times. But other than a little bit of absences, I'm not doing so bad. Most my classes are going just fine, I'm just worried about my theatre history class because I have to write a paper every week and I've been feeling oh so uncreative lately. I WAS worried about my senior seminar class but it's actually much more fun than I thought it was gonna be.
Things are still going super with me and Britt. Almost 1 year and 5 months now :-D
The stagehand job I mentioned was pretty fun... being paid to do what I like... but I started taking on too many early hours when I had late night obligations and I was late by like... 5 minutes or so a couple times so I was let go. It was still a fun experience and I still help out with the mainstage when I have time.
Anyways... outside of school, I've been hanging out with my friend Nick more often. And Sean finally got away from his GF so he's actually hanging out with people now. So it's fun, it's like it used to be a few years ago almost.
So here are some goals I got for this year:
-Be more motivated when it comes to sleeping and waking up.
-Get a job. Although I have some in mind, I sadly haven't been trying as hard as I should be. Not that it's the easiest thing to do right now.
-Lose weight. Once this semester is over I'm gonna try to ignore my car and ride my bike more often. Too much late night taco bell and doing nothing to keep the weight off don't mix. I should at least play DDR again.
-If possible, find a permanent full time job other than the seasonal stuff I've been doing at the Grand Prix every year.
-Pay off school loans and possible move outta the parent's house. I'm not gonna be like my brother and be stuck there forever. I wanna get outta the house, even if it's just moving in with some friends.
I dunno what else to say. I feel lost on the computer right now lol.
Anyways, as long as I can think of something to say, I'll try to write more.\
