My house is really cold. It's kinda uncomfortable, but you know, you just deal with it and get on with your life. Cold feet be damned. (No, that doesn't have any other relevance than that my feet are chilly. :c) In other news, I'm home again! Yay! I missed home, but I also got fed up with my room for being so damned messy, so I decided that, when I woke up at 1 in the morning, I would get up and fucking clean my room. And so I did. I finished up what was left this morning, which was some small stuff, nothing too bad, and now I have a nice clean room. Even my closet, and even under my bed. I didn't find anything that was ~alive~, though, which was nice. An old bottle of lemonade was the worst I could claim to.
The storm that hit last night wasn't so nice, since I was hoping to see my Princess today, but with the roads, and the fucking snow (everywhere! Up to your knees), that doesn't look too promising. Maybe tomorrow, then. It's still only Thursday. This weekend, probably. However, my father's leaving for my grandparents' tonight, so I'll have the house to myself for a few days. It might end up being a little lonely, but oh well, what have you, I'll be fine. I have Bioshock 2 here, at least. And Silent Hill 4.
Princess is pretty worried lately about Loki... and the gods in general I suppose, but mostly Loki since she's come to the realization that she's Lokean. I can pretty much do nothing to help her (unfortunately), other than chat with her about it. I think, though, I have run out of things to say... I mean, I don't really know much about anything other than my own research. Which is why I'm trying to get some connections going in our little town, but that in itself is also stressing her out. Poor thing. Sometimes it's kinda hard to deal with, but I'm her Master, after all. It's my job to take care of her, and that I do.
I'm reading a lot more than usual too. My Kobo's by my side pretty much all the time. I finished Sutton in one long read-a-thon over Yule, and it was great. I can understand why some people were a little iffy on the ending, though. I wish that the author had just left it where it was at the end of Sutton's narration and not gone on with the reporters. There was some interesting stuff in there, but it felt pretty tacked on. Other than that, amazing amazing book. Hngh. Love it. I'm working my way through LA Noire; the Collected Stories. Which I agree with most of the reviews I've read on it. Some stories are good, some stories are bad. Black Dahlia & White Rose in particular I hated. The one right after that, though, was better, even though I saw the ending coming. Well, I'm going to get back to that. Maybe eat something. I still have to do that today...
