Saturday Night

Despite how rarely I go to parties and such (really only rare because of my tiny social life), I really do enjoy them. Getting a little drunk, hanging out with people that I like... it's all good stuff. I'm glad that we eventually got there. I don't mind busing to somewhere I don't know when it's light outside. Then I can see identifiable landmarks. In the dark, it's a completely different story unfortunately, thus much easier to get lost. Which we were. I have to remember to call my mother day and properly thank her for coming to our rescue last night. It we'd been stuck like that... well, that would have been a terrible fucking night, wouldn't it?

Yesterday overall was a pretty sweet day. I got new headphones! Finally! It was with minimum hassle, considering the circumstances with the lost receipt and the fact that the first store we tried wasn't actually the store that we purchased the headphones from the first place. Apparently it happens a lot with returns. Got new Bose earbuds. I wanted them because they're smaller than over the ear ones, and generally less hassle in my opinion. Yeah, perhaps a little sound quality gets sacrificed but they're still Bose, and that means they're quality even if they're just earbuds. They even have a little carrying case so they stay nice and safe. The problem with my last ones -- unfortunately -- was the jack. It stuck straight out, and I probably rested my laptop the wrong way too much (so that the jack of the headphones bent against my stomach where the laptop was sitting), and the wires got all sad and broken. :c Not with these! Oh no. Not with these... I will be keeping them quite safe.

Princess turned in some unplayed games to get some money for them. It was a really sad amount... because they were all really shitty games. No one likes them, so some of them were only $3 or $4. A couple were more expensive than that but it was enough to get Batman: Arkham Asylum (for the second time) and put money down for DMC. We're replaying Batman right now, and it's all nostalgia time. We used to play this so much it's ridiculous.

shopping, good times
