My Dad just came out of the bathroom in his underwear and with bed-head and said in a british accent,
"In my bright metal suit, I'm preparing to shoot up the city."

And then wordlessly left for his room again.

I'm not sure whether to laugh and love him for knowing that lyric, or be squicked on your behalf for you having to witness your dad in his underwear. (Of course the pervy old lady part of me just wants to know if your dad is where you got your good looks from...)

Now the line "Rock Show! at the Hollywood Bowl, they got Long Hair at the Madison Square" is stuck in my head.

We joke about me being the "greatest musical mind there never was"; I've got tons of musical knowledge, appreciation and so forth from him... but next to no actually talent that I can use to practically apply said knowledge. It's like I was put on the wheel of talents and mistakenly ended up with "graphic arts" instead of "guitar", like he did. XD
