Welcome to 5genres, a multi-fandom, low-pressure prompt table fanfic community. The object is to explore different literary genres by writing five fics for your fandom, all in different genres. Ever wonder what it would be like to write a detective story set at Hogwarts? A horror story about hobbits? A fairy tale about Sherlock and John?

By no pressure we really mean no pressure. No deadlines. You may post your fics to the community whenever you’d like, and take years to finish your table for all we care. We will be doing check-ups to see which authors are active just to keep the claiming table tidy, but no-one will be deleted against their knowledge.
