So there for I am still watching movies.
Yesterday I watched, Bright young things, Becoming Jane, and Bollywood Queen.
All of which had James McAvoy in them. We'll start at the beginning and work our way forward.
Bright young things is about the right and lavish life of the young people of society, and how they are a canker on London's society. James plays a journalist, who's job it is to write dirty slanderous gossip about these people. His role is relatively small, but the movie was really quite excellent. Like real like, nothing ever goes as planned for the main charecter, and things are always blowing up in his face. In the end most of the character come to the bad ends they deserve for the lives they've lead.
over all I'd give his move a 4 out of 5. Interesting story kept me on my toes. great costumes and locations. The plot was believable, and well thought out. One of those 'it was all fate' movies. I would buy this movie
Becoming Jane is the telling of Jane Austen's life, and how she fell madly in love with an irish lawyer. But, due to female marriage requirements, (aka marrying a rich man that can support you as you're a woman and can't work,) Things don't work out for them. James plays the slightly self absorbed Mr LaFroy. Something about the period garb, and those piercing blue eyes- you fall in love with him as fast as Jane dose. The whole time you're watching, you can't believe that love can exist that pure, that powerful- that it nearly destroys them both. Amazing film absolutely amazing. Full of fan girl squee moments, and a little toplessness. Mmmm. 5 out of 5 on this one. great fuckking movie.
Bollywood Queen What do I say about this movie? It's cheesy, it's corny, it's low budget. BUT- It's a romeo and Juliette story between an irish textile worker, and Indian textile worker. There's singing, and dancing, and saris and fights, and car chases. The whole nine yards. You really get to heart alot of James accent in this one. HE sings IN HINDI! 0_0 so cool! It was corny, and i watched it on youtube, but it was tottaly worth my time. I'm only giving it a 2.5 out of 5 becuase it was not a very GOOD film, but it was HIGHLY entertaining.
ok other wise im doing damn nothing, so if you wanna hang out this week let me know. I'm board!!!
