so it goes
So I just got home from work. Rode my bike up to the corner store to get some stuff. This is two blocks away from my house. There are a couple of cop cars there with lights on and the whole perimeter of the property is taped off with Police tape. An Asian family is standing on the corner outside the tape. A cop comes out and starts tearing down the tape. I ask him simply "what happened?" to which he responds after a few seconds and somewhat reluctantly, "oh, someone was killed outside the store here." Damn. So it goes I guess. I still like my neighborhood.
