So, for those of you that dont know, which is about everyone who reads
this, i spent the weekend in Michigan. Looking at the University of
Michigan. Which is awesome. I went with my dad, who spent his college
days there. I would not reccommend taking someone that went to a
college 30 years ago to do tours of that school. He managed to
successfully beat the tour guide, and tour guide in training into
submission with questions. Not questions relating to the tour mind you,
but questions about the history of the school which he already knew.
Arg.
After the tour he proceeded to tell me everything he knew about
Michigan, relevant and not. Including how he spent his time at college
and how much fun it was. Yay. But it was th early 70s, so it was filled
with protests and the 'Hash Bash'. But Hippies and potheads werent the
only products of the 60s at the Univerity of Michigan, as I learned
from a blacklight poster in one of the stores on campus (Its a tad
explicit...):
The Michigan Zodiac I wanted to buy it quite badly. Alas, I might have gotten thrown
out of the house once I returned. I got a cool one, though.
So now I am in Boston, looking at more schools. Its getting old,
but it's better now than never. I cant watch stella, which is NOT
COOL. Stupid hotel.
I'll be gone all week, so try not to get too bored in Guilford...
