In A Bar

[*Faith's been a guy for a couple days now, and the novelty of new things she can do - peeing standing up is harder than it looks - has worn off. She has therefore found herself a nice, anonymous bar and is going to drink until she passes out.*]

[Which is essentially what Chris has been planning to do all day. He's not long at the bar himself, and he's nursing a bottle of beer]

[*Without making a conscious decision to do so, Faith slides onto the stool next to Chris and orders 'one of whatever he's drinking'*]

[Chris looks over, vaguely glancing at this new guy. There's a vague familiarity to him, but it feels like the sort of 'have bumped into him at a bar before' type of familiarity. He gives a nod anyway, and takes a drink from his bottle]

[*He doesn't recognize Faith, of course... which gives Faith a wicked idea.*] Hey, I've seen ya 'round here before, right?

[2ndcharmedson]

[It takes Chris a minute to realise that the guy is talking to him. He looks up] What? Oh, yeah, probably. I'm getting a bad habit for occupying dives.

Same. [*She thinks for a moment*] I'm, uh, Frank.

[2ndcharmedson]

Nice to meet ya, Frank. [He tilts his bottle in his direction] M'Chris.

[*He smirks. May as well have a little fun*] It's real nice to meet ya. Like I say, I've seen y'around.

[2ndcharmedson]

[Chris ... is not in the right mindset for double-speak] Yeah. And?

[5by5slayer]

And... reckon I've been keepin' an eye out for ya. Maybe with a mind for getting to know ya better.

[2ndcharmedson]

Yeah? [Chris gives a look] Why d'ya wanna do a thing like that?

[*He shrugs*] You're hot, what can I say?

[2ndcharmedson]

A lot of other things that'd probably go down better. [There's a smirk as he shakes his head] Why is it no one tries to pick me up for my mind.

[*An answering smirk*] If I told ya I liked your mind, you'd think I was nuts.

[2ndcharmedson]

Maybe, but it's a more interesting pick up than "you're hot".

Alright then, I like your mind. An' the way you're kinda magic. [*She doesn't quite catch herself in time, but hopes it's vague and cheesey enough to not blow Frank's cover.*]
