Currently: Watching end of life prophecies on History TV while I work on reports. Livin' the life!
Trying to do more of these snapshots for memories. Someday I won't remember this stuff, but I know I will want to.
So, things that make me laugh recently:
1. Austin's cheekiness. Recently he has started to say, "Momma, I prefer..." Three. He PREFERS. Also he has taken to calling a character on a TV show Dicktor instead of Victor and I basically die laughing every time, which makes him laugh, even though he doesn't know why we are laughing.
2. Griffin also likes to try to kiss back. If you go in for the smooch, he leans right in toward you, open mouth and all, to suck on your face and slobber on you. I don't care, though. I adore it. I love how affectionate my babies are and I hope they never lose that.
3. Recently Adam took Dad to Moe's with Griff for lunch and a worker there asked Adam "How he could get a baby like that" since he and his fiancee have been thinking about getting one. ...Wut? Turns out he thought Adam and my dad were a COUPLE and he was talking about him and his (homosexual) fiancee adopting a baby. Oy. I still giggle a little when I think of this one.
Things that make me smile:
1. Austin constantly asking me, "What letter is that Mom?" I am so glad he is into it and that I don't have to force it. He's just so smart.
2. Griffin's babbling. He tries so hard to talk to us. Why do babies have to grow up so quickly...? I already feel the loss of so many tiny milestones.
3. The constant games of pretend. Love watching the imagination of Austin's mind at work. Lately it's superheroes, space ships, "Secret Agents" when he walks around with his Etch-a-Sketch calling it his computer. He's adorable. Everything is so exciting to him.
4. Finally having "sisters".
