Note1: I know none of you will care about this, so I promise I will make a legit update in a little while, I just felt like doing this first. Don't like it? Toooooo bad!
Note2: HOLY SHIT, NEW IN FLAMES CD. SO. GOOD.
Anyway, this is something I was thinking about today. Because I'm a loser like that.
You see, since I obtained my purty 1995 Geo Prizm on June 23, 2003, I've had a similar condition to women who are obsessed with shoes; I've kept the car looking almost exactly the same, except I always change the wheel covers. 5 times since I got the car. I even have a timeline of it in my head (and pictures, mostly from my old crappy camera):
The original -- June 23, 2003:
The day I got it. Those wheel covers had been on there for the past 8 years, and were beginning to peel/fade/disintergrate. So..
The Ugly Change -- June 30, 2003:
I couldn't stand looking at the half yellow old ones, so I threw on this set I had. They looked terrible, but I kept them for a while since I had just begun my new job and didn't yet have spendable extra income..
An Improvment! -- August 13, 2003:
Ah, the classic 5-spoke. I had the same ones on my old car and liked the looks, so I got a set for this car and they looked good to me. I still love them, but in the process of cleaning them a few weeks ago I accidentally broke a piece off of one...while not noticeable to 95% of people, it bothered the fuck out of me. So, I took them all off..
OMGHAWTNAKEDBLACKWHEELZ -- February 2004:
While I normally like cars rocking the black steel wheels, the girly blue color of my car just does not go well with them. I literally was embarassed by the look of it and parked my car further away from my house just so less people would see it...haha
My new wheels OF PLASTIC, HAR -- February 19, 2004
The only picture I have since I just took a quick one before it got dark...they look pretty good in person though. So hurrah.
NOW TIME TO WRITE AN ACTUAL UPDATE, WITH THINGS HAPPENING IN MY LIFE! BOY HOWDY!
