Are we allowed to do something iSpeed Date-related? Or does that really count as a school dance?

Sure! Why not? Can you justify it as having to do with, be about, take place because of, take place at, happen due to the idea of, be in any way related to the idea of a school dance, or dancing at school, or perhaps a school OF dance? Then you're good.
