_fanfics (Community) Is Having an Icon Contest
CONTEST RULES
(1) You must either be a member of _fanfics_ or one of our community affiliates to participate in this contest. If you are not a member of _fanfics_, please leave a note in the subject line of your entry which community you belong to. However, membership to _fanfics_ is compeletely open, so you are welcome to join us at any time ^_~
(2) Entries are restricted to no more that 4 icons per user. If you submit more than four icons I will only count the first four.
(3) The icon you create is for The Fanfiction Archives only, so please have the text
"The Fanfiction Archives"
or
"_fanfics_"
appear somewhere, at some point, in each icon. All formats of icons are welcome - slideshows, stills, flashy text... whatever you can do, feel free to show us all how unique and creative you can be!!
Please try to keep the icons as close to 100x100 as possible.
If you use images, please have them relate in some way to fandom writing and art. (ie: anime shots, since a large portion of fandom is anime related).
(4) Each icon you submit must be completely new & unique - do not, under any circumstances, steal icons from other users or icon communities! If you do not have the capabilities to create an icon yourself, but have ideas that you know someone else can bring to life, I do not mind if you have an outside source create the icons for you. However, you must post his/her username when you submit your entry to give proper credit where it is due. Any icons suspected of being stolen will be reviewed and ultimately discarded.
(5) You must submit your icons as a comment to this post. If you are submitting more than one icon, please put them all in one comment so that I can be sure to give proper credit when voting time comes around!
(6) Entry submissions will be closed on Saturday, July 16. So as of today, July 1, you have a little over two weeks to work on your icons and submit them in time. Any entries turned in on July 16 or later will not be counted!
Thanks guys, and I look forward to seeing all the great icons y'all produce! Depending on the number of entries, I may allow for second and third place icon winners as well... but I will approach that possibility when the time comes around!
