Always thinking
Always hearing
Never Wanting
to be breathing
life goes on
hands are steady
march until
our souls are heavy
pride from killing
lives we take
hide inside this humanoid shape
our feet lay flat
our palms stay sweaty
the ones who die
are never ready
eyes kept open
fists fell clenched
teeth left chattering
but on we went
we couldn't stop
time won't relent
with passing days
more ammo's spent
and still we strive
we'll never quit
we'd rather fall
than let home hit

return the fire
orders heed
give up the fight
bend to our greed
we'll kill you all
or we'll die trying
never quitting
always crying
never fearing
always lying
both to ourselves
and to those spying
we hold whats yours
we spend it all
we laugh and pity
while you crawl
we smirk
we smile
we tell our tales
we spin a yarn
to our avail
we climb our molehills
retrieve our grails
and in the end
although we fail
we compromise
and we set sail
to start anew
begin a course
chart out lands
through the blackest of forests
it is our duty
our species
to carry with
a bold disease
the oldest thought
the most absurd
the strange sickness
