It's been two weeks since Verrity's birth and while Jack has been bonding with his daughter, he's still a bit restless and ready to get back to work. With a clean bill of health from Muraki -- and with a few people to look after the wee one while he's busy -- he's ready to return to his previous beat, in the wee hours of the night. Ever since a little incident involving the Time Vortex at the heart of the TARDIS, he hasn't needed much sleep (when his hormones aren't out of whack). Back in his world, he'd be spending the long nights hunting Weevils in the tunnels under Cardiff (when he isn't hunting for company of a much more pleasant variety), but keeping watch over the good folk here is a fair enough substitute.
By some oversight, perhaps on Tsuzuki's part in the shinigami's eagerness to keep things covered, Jack finds he's been scheduled to share his beat with a partner. Well, two pairs of eyes are better than one.
When Eda heads out on watch, she might find herself nearly walking into a tall, dark, good-looking guy in a long grey coat, a quiver strapped to his back and a compound bow over his shoulder. A mischievous smile might be crossing his face as he looks her up and down. "Wow, Tsuzuki told me I'd have a partner, but he didn't tell me about you," he remarks.
Looking for an Eda: this could get wacky, given Jack's propensity for flirting with everyone, including the help.
