I go see the lawyer tomorrow, first step of getting my name legally changed.
I got to play real manager tonight for a while, cause the actual manager was doing orientation all night, so she needed someone to play MOD, and that was me. I got to wander the floor and be all managerial and stuff. Which amounted to not much, given that it was so quiet I didn't have to do any returns or anything. Just get change and do a pickup. Woo.
I paid a bunch of bills today - my phone bill, my doctor's bill and my endo bill. Which means on the one hand, less money for me, on the other, it's off my mind.
I also sent back my Netflix stuff, so I should probably queue up something I want, shouldn't I? Serenity just didn't do it for me, still, and Shortbus was sexy but depressing when it came down to it. Let's see... something fun... Okay, Take the Lead cause I know I liked it in the theaters and I want to see if it's something I'm going to want to buy, and hm. I'll think of something else.
Wow, I am curious about Netflix's recommendations system. A few examples:
"National Geographic: China's Lost Girls" because you enjoyed "Riverdance"
"Waco: The Rules of Engagement" because you enjoyed "Twin Peaks: Season 1"
"Back to the Future" because you enjoyed "Back to the Future part 3" (GENIUS, I TELL YOU - similarly, all Star Wars movies are recommended to me based on me liking all other Star Wars movies. Seriously.)
"Portishead Live" because you enjoyed "Twin Peaks: Season 1" (Which seems to bring up the most random recs)
"The Nativity Story" because you enjoyed "The Phantom of the Opera"
