Awww, no mini-Two! it's okay, though, since I got one, hahahah. But alas! The rest of these are great--I love the first one of the whole Torchwood crew. I'm sad you don't have a Tosh or Owen. I guess they were off shagging somewhere. But still, that's fantastic.

And I want to read Jack/Ianto/bot!Jack whenever one of you gets around to writing it.

Oh, send on the picture! (Or maybe it's on your LJ already... it would probably behoove me to check these things first...)

I suspect one of the more pornographically inclined will tackle it, not me, although I did say I would jump in on a group fic if it was available. I'm not much of a fic writer, to be honest. Never done one. There IS a bit of a JackBot fic already, but I can tell you after reading it, it stops before the smut would start.

Which surprised me, frankly.

Hahaha, yes, all my pictures are up on my LJ. :)

Clearly you need to write some fanfic! I've been writing it for ages, so I'd be happy to beta read for you or offer suggestions or pointers, though you probably don't need them. :D

I dunno, I don't think fic writing is in my genes or whatever. I've started a couple, but I just don't have the drive to finish, and then I think they're rubbish later anyway.

I did find the pics, and I saved a bunch, cause I don't have nearly enough, myself.

Mini-Two for the win.

Well, it's one thing if you don't want to write fic, but if you do and you'd like some encouragement, don't hestitate. I've been writing since I was like 8 . . . I've had a bit of practice, hahaha. I'm more than happy to offer encouragement. Trust me, by the time I'm through with it, it wouldn't suck. :)

If you want larger versions of any of the pictures, just let me know.

Well, if I ever do, I'll let you know. I think I have perhaps too high a standard of how in character things have to be, to be able to do it without criticising myself to death.

I might have been slightly merciless about that issue with the fics I was shown at Gallifrey. So sorry, Ianto.

(But he still wouldn't say 'gross'.)

Actually, I think that's rather admirable. It's always nice to read fic from someone who has a really strong grasp on characterization. Of course, that could lead to problems if you can't bend their characterizations enough to write the actual fic . . .I mean, post-Doctor Jack fic you could probably easily write some random Jack-porn, but I know that some people have trouble reading, say, Doctor/Jamie, just because they can't get their brains around it, even if it "reads" in character. So there is that.

I'm not sure I'd be able to do slash if I did do fic.

It could only be certain situations with certain characters, I think.

Which doesn't mean that I don't read things that I think "that could really never ever work" and still think it was kinda hot, for all that. I just couldn't WRITE it.

hahaha, fair enough, fair enough! There are certainly lots of things I've read that I couldn't write! (And a few things I don't mind writing, but can't stand to read.) I find that the more exposure I have to a medium, the more accepting of it I am. For instance, the first Fifth Doctor/Turlough fic I came across really left me scratching my head. But I kept reading them (along with Fifth/Tegan, hahaha) and eventually I found a talented author who wrote convincingly enough Fifth/Turlough that I started to enjoy them. (I've yet to read a Fifth/Tegan that was convicing, sadly.)

I totally can't see either of those pairings. The dynamic just isn't there. If I was going to see Fifth/anyone (which is a stretch for me as it is, since I have a seriously hard time sexualizing any Classic Doctors), it would be Nyssa. I could actually see Tegan/Turlough, I think. But I've never seen it done.

Like I said, I didn't get Fifth/Turlough either, until I read a fic that convinced me it could be done. I'm firmly of the mind that a talented writer can convince me of ANY pairing. But I have to find that talented writer, first. I actually like Tegan/Turlough quite a bit (more so than Fifth/Turlough), and I've read and written a few. But most people don't like Tegan/Turlough . . . Fifth/Tegan and Fifth/Turlough are the main two "rival" pairings, really. Fifth/Nyssa I could see, especially by a good writer, but it's considerably more rare, which is sad. :/

Poor unsexualized classic Doctors. It's funny because I think they were all randy sods. One/Barbara!

I think good fic writers in general are rare.

Randy... sods... Wow, I just so don't see it.

So true, so true. Extremely hard to find good fic writers. Though if you ever want a recommendation for a good story, I'm content to offer some. I even have a few non-shippy stories I could reccomend. :)

And . . . well, it helps if you have the mindset first. Like, if you watch a serial assuming that the Doctor is sleeping with the current companion it's easier to see the innuendo.

Hahaha, I bet if you got together with the Torchwood crew and watched "The Dominators" you'd come away "seeing" it . . . or really, any serial. You just need the Innuendo Squad to make anything dirty. Put on your porn-colored glasses, that's all you'll need. Who'll never be the same again.

Now I'm slightly frightened, cause you're probably right.

For all that Jack lives in my brain, I'm really not good at the whole innuendo thing yet.

I wouldn't care much about most eras, if I 'saw' it, but I think I just... I don't want to even try to handle the ones from my nice, innocent childhood being perverted, as it were. Fifth being the king of that time, I really stay away from stuff about him.

Hahahha, fair enough, fair enough. Far be it from me to ruin your childhood memories. I didn't get into Who until I was an adult and already perverted so it doesn't bother me. I was into Star Trek: The Next Generation as a kid (it started when I was seven, and I watched it when it first aired, etc.) so in some ways I feel similarly . . . not that I don't "see" some of the more popular pairings in that show, I just don't care about them, you know? I always saw them as straight or "unsexual" as far as the show went, so Picard having the sex with Data . . . while I could maybe "get it" I just don't care. It's just not why I liked the show, or whatever. Verses, say, Star Trek: Enterprise, which I saw as an adult when I was into relationship things, and therefore I'm totally okay with seeing more into it. I dunno.

I'm sure after you move out to California and hang out with more of us delinquent types, you'll get converted. Even if it just is new!Who and Torchwood. I mean, Torchwood doesn't even NEED fanfic, really--it's all canon,

I seriously don't think I had a sexual thought in my head till I was at least thirteen. So Fifth Doctor falls distinctly in the unsexual era of my life. And there he stays.

However... New Who and Torchwood... I do read slash for that, and somehow that stays in one part of my brain and actual canon/nonsexual appreciation of the show is in another part of my brain.

It's all Jack's fault, blame him.

But yes... I think you all broke my brain a little (in a good way) in a mere three days. What DOES the future hold once I'm out there?
