Happy New Year from the east coast

Dec 31, 2006 23:53

So for those of you on the west coast, (of the US), Happy New Year three hours from now.

I'm pretty much alone for New Years. My mate's at a party. I'm at home. Mom's in bed, dad's up, but whoopee, you know, and my brother's at a party. I have to work at 9 tomorrow morning, so I'm not doing anything, except sitting here updating LJ and going off to play WoW.

And wishing that Torchwood had aired TONIGHT instead of TOMORROW, but oh well.

Despite the early hour of my shift tomorrow, I'm still going to bed far too late. For one thing, I got up far too late today, so no sleeping for me quite yet.

Four more minutes until the New Year.

Doing resolutions isn't really my thing, considering I never keep them anyway (like 99 percent of the population). This year though, I have to move out of this house, and, somewhat unrealistically, but wishfully, I'd like to have surgery this year too.

Happy New Year, folks.

random, family
