Doctor In Distress

As I attempt to assemble a relatively complete collection of all my Doctor Who related music and sound files for the trip to UFC (ahhh, a 2 hour drive to a sci fi con... what better time to be playing this CD?), I'm trying to hunt down Doctor In Distress again.

I have the record. That would be absolutely brillant, if I knew how to hook the stuff up to the computer to record it. Only my brother knows how. It involves the amp thing and the record player, and he tried to explain it to me, but I didn't get it.

So once again, I'm on the hunt online. Surely something has changed in the last two years? Doctor Who is huuuuuge now, someone must be interested in its... colorful history.

Lo and behold, someone is. Observe the beauty of YouTube.

Also, please bear in mind that although I have a sick affection for the music despite its um... style, the true value of this song and ESPECIALLY its video is in the sheer dorkiness/poor quality of it.

Now, straight to you from the year 1985, it's Doctor in Distress!

Seriously, HOW did they get Colin Baker, Nicola Bryant, Nicholas Courtney and Anthony Ainley to do this? And WHY are they not the worst singers of the bunch? That's the really alarming part...

On a side note, I ordered 3-D glasses from American Science and Surplus, but I'm not sure they will be here in time for the con. I did, however, find a really, truly awesome green shirt, and I already have a nice collarless button up brown shirt, so I can pull off the Tooth And Claw 10th Doctor outfit. (Brown shirt, green shirt, jacket.) Awesome. I hope the glasses come, though...
