*A- ah~ ACHOOOOOO!!!* 'm not feeling too well. I must be in a slump. *sniffle*

The worst part isn't the runny nose or the sore throat, it's the tummy ache. I- I think I might have to skip second lunch. That would suck so much!!!

*sniffle*

But not to worry! I will preserve; I will fight on! I will conquer this cold! You can count on it!!!

you see what i did there? *nudge*nudge*, tst

Second lunch...?

It sounds like you should rest... if you're sick, you;ll get better much faster if you take it easy and you won't give it to everyone else.

[ooc: strikes totally readable.]

Second lunch, you know, the meal between first lunch and evening snack time. But at the this rate, I'll probably have to skip snack time too and go straight to post-snack time dessert. *sigh*

Ahh! Now you're beginning to sound like Kambei!

I... don't actually think such a meal exists...

Well, Mister Shimada is very wise. You should listen to him.

W- w- what do you mean it doesn't exist? That's crazy talk. The last thing I need with a cold is to become malnourished!

He is, ain't he? He likes to pretend to be all prim and proper, but on the inside, he's a big softy.

Ah, well, generally there's just breakfast, one lunch, and dinner. Sometimes afternoon tea, which is nice because there are cookies or those little cakes, but...

Ah... well, he could be. I don't know him well enough to say.

Tea doesn't count as a meal. I hate tea time. Coffee is way better than tea.

Trust me on this one, he totally is!

Well, no. It's more like snack time, really. And coffee is too bitter. I like tea better.

Hm... well as long as it's called snack time and not tea time, then I guess it's alright. One can never have too many snacks, after all!

Hm... well, you probably can have too many, but I suppose so long as you don't eat so many you make yourself sick, it's okay...

No, no. You've got it backwards! You can make yourself sick from not eating enough!

I... don't really think it works like that. I mean, if you never eat, maybe, but I certainly don't eat two lunches or ...post-snack desserts, and I'm fine.

The way I figure it, you should eat until you're full!

But honestly, you should try eating post-snack time dessert at least once in you're lifetime. It's one of my favorite meals of the day!

Ah, well... I guess I was just raised differently.

I suppose trying it once wouldn't hurt. It would depend on what the dessert was, though.
